REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
NOTE: It is mandatory that you come to class prepared. If you do not already have some of the required equipment, please contact us well in advance of your course. Calling us the night before class will leave you in a bad situation. If you come to class unprepared, you run the risk of being sent home before class starts. It is impossible for us to train you if you don’t bring the proper tools. We truly want to help…please give us the opportunity.
It is important that you transport your firearms to class in a manner that is CA legal.
CCW (Concealed Carry Weapons Course) INITIAL & RENEWAL
- Eye and ear protection
- Baseball cap or brimmed hat, closed toe shoes, pants/shorts with belt loops, a sturdy belt, and a collared shirt (NO TANK TOPS OR MUSCLE SHIRTS)
- Handgun, holster, at least two (2) (3+ is better) magazines/speed loaders/strips, magazine/speed loader pouches are suggested, but not mandatory
- AMMUNITION ~ 250, plus 30 additional rounds for every additional firearm you want on your permit
In our professional opinion, we strongly suggest only a minimal # of firearms on your permit. Carry what you are truly proficient with; there’s no benefit to having 5 guns on a permit. We believe in this so strongly, that we charge $10 per qualification of all firearms beyond 3. Qualification for guns #4 and #5 (if applicable) will cost an additional $10 each on top of class tuition. The first 3 are included in tuition). *Bring $10-$20 cash if you want to qualify with more that 3 firearms.
