CCW Course

** IMPORTANT! **
If you are a Stanislaus County Resident, for your protection, it is important that before you schedule a class, you read and understand the CCW Policy of the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department (www.scsdonline.com click on Forms). Effective 8/1/14, if you take your training class prior to your appointment, your certificate cannot be dated more than 6 months prior to your appointment date. If you do not understand their policy, please call them at (209) 525-7117.

This course is designed to satisfy the requirements for CCW issuance in California. Our CCW training certificates are accepted in Stanislaus County, San Joaquin County, City of Manteca, City of Ripon, City of Modesto, City of Turlock, Mariposa County, Merced County, and Tuolumne County.

While there is no guarantee of issuance, this course is also the perfect introduction to firearms (pistol) training. You will leave with new skills and confidence in the safe operations of the pistol, with an understanding of the use of firearms for self-defense.  We will discuss the legal and moral aspects to consider when deciding to use a gun for personal protections.

Ammunition..........     150 rounds, plus 20 additional rounds for every additional firearm you want on your permit

NOTE: We are unable to keep tabs on which counties are issuing CCW Permits and which are not (although we do our best). We have limited information on this topic. Please check with your issuing agence (The LE Agency of the county/city in which you currently reside) for the most current information,

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
• 150 rounds
• Eye/Ear Protection, closed toe shoes, hat with a bill (bball hat is sufficient, but if you wear a full brimmed hat make sure it will work with the hearing protection you'll be wearing)
• Gun, holster, magazines (or speed loaders/speed strips). If you do not have a gun, pls email us so we can assist you. 

We will greet you with snacks/coffee/water, and there are several food establishments for lunch very close to the range. Our tuition and round count are a little higher than others, and there's a reason for that. Please consider we are not training our students to put a little white paper/card in your wallet...We want you to be prepared in the God-forbidden situation that you have to defend yourself because you are in fear for your life.
