CCW Renewal Qualification
This course is designed to satisfy the requirements for CCW Renewal issuance in California. Our CCW training certificates are accepted in Stanislaus County, San Joaquin, Mariposa County, Merced County, and Tuolumne County.
Please contact your issuing agency before you register with us for qualification. The issuing agency is under NO obligation to re-issue.
You made it through the last 2 years of little to no training without neading to present your firearm (or the consequences)... what if you and your family arent as lucky in this coming 2 years? Will you have practiced enough to be prepared? What about the innocent by-standers around your situation? Please remember to look into our other training courses as qualifying once every 2 years (state minimum) is NOT enough to keep you prepared and informed for a lethal encounter. DH1 is 1 day and $160, as is DH2. Each.... a no brainer. A Valley Defense Membership is even better.
Keep in mine that CA recently requires qualification with every firearm you want on your permit.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS A QUALIFICATION. THIS IS NOT TRAINING. IT IS A FORMAL TEST REQUIRED BY THE STATE AND COUNTY/CITY AND WE ARE THE PROCTORS. WE ARE TESTING BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE GIVEN. PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANY TRAINING (CHEATING) DURING THE WRITTEN TEST AND CERTAINLY NOT DURING QUALIFICATION ON THE RANGE. IF AFTER AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF HAVING A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LOAD OR UNLOAD, OR HOW TO CLEAR MALFUNCTIONS AND RUN THE GUN SAFELY, WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO MARK THAT AS A FAILED TEST. That scenario is PREVENTABLE!! The whole point is you shouldnt be practicing to pass a test... You should be practicing to stay alive during the worst moments of your life! We are right here offering to help, but we can not help you in a test. Please contact us.... we really want to help you!
We are unable to keep tabs on which counties are issuing CCW Permits and which are not, and the changes in their internal operations re ccw permits (although we do our best). We have limited information on this topic. Please check with your issuing agence (The LE Agency of the county/city in which you currently reside), for the most current information.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
20 rounds for every gun you want on your permit for every agency EXCEPT San Joaquin County. SJC requires 30 rounds per gun. Remember, per State of CA, you shall qualify with EVERY firearm you want on your permit. Eye/Ear Protection, closed toe shoes, hat with a bill (bball hat is sufficient, but if you wear a full brimmed hat make sure it will work with the hearing protection you'll be wearing)
Gun, holster, magazines (or speed loaders/speed strips)
If you do not have a gun, please email us so we can assist you. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
